Music and lyrics by Frank Loesser. Book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows. This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Ltd. on behalf of Music Theatre International of New York.<\/p>\n<p>Nathan Detroit, inveterate gambler, runs a \u2018floating craps game\u2019 in New York, but is running out of secret hideaways to base his illegal activities. He manages to hang on to his glamorous but frustrated show girl fianc\u00e9e, Adelaide, deftly avoiding matrimony. Amongst the morally bankrupt gamblers visiting town and also keen for some action is Sky Masterson, an enigmatic legend for the \u2018guys\u2019 and a womaniser of the \u2018dolls\u2019. Somehow the paths of these two ne\u2019er do wells become entangled with the local branch of the Salvation Army and passionate moralist Sarah Brown\u2026<\/p>\n<p>With an exciting mixture of shady gambling, evangelical soul-searching, glamorous showgirls and a quick trip to Cuba thrown in, this musical offers a variety of famous songs (<em>Luck be a Lady<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Take Back Your Mink<\/em>,<em>Sit Down<\/em>,\u00a0<em>You\u2019re Rocking the Boat<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Guys and Dolls<\/em>,\u00a0<em>If I Were a Bell<\/em>) and settings to keep an audience happy, laughing and singing along inside.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets \u00a310 (\u00a38 concessions).
