We have been running since 2008 and have provided more than 1,500 bednights. We have a thorough screening and referral process to keep you and the young people safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our volunteer hosts provide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a safe and secure, private room with a bed for the night<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>an evening meal and breakfast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>washing facilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a friendly welcome and a listening ear or quiet space if preferred<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>breathing space while young people access the support they need to move towards finding more permanent accommodation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volunteers choose which evenings they would like to host on a flexible basis, there is no pressure and you can do as much or as little as you choose. We provide a comprehensive recruitment process including full training, home visits and DBS checks.
