Stourpaine 2013 Village Fête
Sunday, 30th June 2013
12 noon until 4 p.m.
Summer is coming! Come and join us at the Stourpaine Village Fête, three miles north of Blandford, on the playing fields beside the new Trailway link between Blandford and Sturminster Newton.
There will be a wide range of events and activities for all the family: children’s games, coconut shy, duck race, ferret and terrier racing, penalty shootout, skittles, tug of war, to name but a few. We will also have stalls selling books, bric-a-brac, cakes, plants, etc. plus an impromptu dog show including the most handsome dog, prettiest bitch, owner and dog with the best six legs, waggiest tail and the dog most like their owner, so do bring your dogs with you.
In addition there will be a display of steam tractors, and you will be able to have a close look at these magnificent machines. Visitors are also invited to bring and show their vintage/classic vehicles.
Come and enjoy the Stourpaine Fête, a quintessentially English event, in our beautiful Blackmore Vale. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 30th June, between 12 noon and 4 p.m.
